Straight for Blackjack Review!

Ok, so over the past few weeks I have seen a million comparisons and reviews of the new Blackjack from Cingular. Every one of them makes the obvious Q comments. I am here to say one thing.....
THE BLACKJACK IS THE BEST OVERALL PHONE I HAVE EVER USED.... PERIOD!!!!!
I have had just about every phone I can think of since the old samsung i300 phone right up through the treos, blackberries, 6700's, and so on.
I had a lot of fear switching to the Blackjack with my previous smartphone experiences with the mpx220 and the 3125. While they both had upside they were just not a match for the ppc phones on the market. They were just to underpowered and the UI was not fully developed.
All of this has changed with the Blackjack. With the UI customizations, the great qwerty keyboard and the pre loaded software the Blackjack has blown me away. Usually within the first two weeks I have identified numerous issues and have developed buyers remourse and started thinking about the next device coming down the pipeline.... Not this time. I have loved every second of it and continue to find more things that I like.
Bottom line, if you are a ppc guy who is scared to take the jump, don't be. You will not be dissapointed.
Jhat....OUT

The Blackjack has one major flaw which prevents me from going out and picking one up - NO BT HEADSET VOICE DIALING! For myself, it unfathomable to have a smartphone that is unable to support voice dialing from a headset. With my KJAM, I am able to dial anyone of my contacts using MS VC without ever having to remove it from my pocket. This comes in handy, especially when driving.

I don't know whether it's Samsung's bastardized BT stack or MS VC 1.16 or a little of both, but the plain fact is the Samsung BT stack has not only had problems with voice dialing, but also with the myriad of BT car systems out there.

What a shame. I was all psyched to replace my KJAM with a Blackjack. When I found out all the problems with the BT stack, I basically gave it the kibosh. Looks like I am sticking it out with my KJAM a bit longer.

You are so lucky to have the Blackjack. Is the Windows Media Player the best or what?!

I would almost be willing to trade my 8125 for a blackjack. If I had known that it was coming out I would have waited. I wouldn't worry about no blue tooth dialing. Someone will hack it.

I don't think it's been hacked as of yet, and it's been out for quite awhile.

Anyways since the time of my last post in this thread, I have replaced my Kjam with a Treo 750, which IMHO is the best phone-ppc device out there.

For my purposes, I don't think the smartphone OS is quite there yet, but it's close. I am looking forward past WM6 to what Photon will offer (which suposedly merges the two OSes together).
