SOLD! 2 month old x50v with extra battery and magnum case
Hi all,

This is my first post (but hopefully not my last). Unfortunately, I have to sell my 2 month old Axim. I'm trying to save up as much money as I can to buy my first house, so I'm trying to scrounge up as much money for a downpayment as I can.

I bought the Axim from Dell on Aug. 15. It came with an extra battery in addition to all the usual stuff (cradle, AC adaptor, slip case, adaptor for the AC adaptor, and the software disc) I also bought a 256MB SD card, and a Magnum magnesium case for it, too. The reason I bought the case is because I dropped the Axim while it was in the slip case and it actually scratched the upper corner of the front trim piece and cracked the screen. (See pics) That happened the second day I bought it. I bought a new screen for it ,and I've had zero problems with it since.

I've had a screen protector on it since day 1 (both screens), so the screen looks flawless ( I took the protector off today to take pics of it) Everything comes in the original Dell box with everything included here:

1. Dell Axim x50v 624mHz 64mb SDRAM 128mb ROM VGA 802.11b Bluetooth
2. Free Windows Mobile 5 upgrade CD (haven't recieved it yet, but I will forward it to you when it arrives)
3. USB Cradle
4. 2yr. limited warranty, 2yr Technical support, 2yr advanced exchange
5. extra 1100mAh battery
6. Charging adaptor for AC adaptor
7. 256mb Sandisk SD card
8. Proporta Magnum Magnesium case w/ swivel belt clip
9. 5 extra screen protectors
10. 1 microfiber screen cleaning cloth
11. Owner's manual and software CD

I'd like to get $325 shipped for it with Paypal only, but I can be persuaded... I'm also selling my PSP, too. If you're interested or if you have any questions please e-mail me at: tydog1@comcast.net

Also if someone could tell me how to upload pics, I can't figure out how to make my picture files smaller. The pics I have are in .jpg format, at about 2mb each, but apparently the size limit for picture upload on this forum is 100kb... Otherwise, I can e-mail them too you no prob.

Thanks for looking!

Nathan Hansen

Thanks for the reply. Let's try this:

http://img439.imageshack.us/img439/6862/img00528uu.jpg
http://img439.imageshack.us/img439/4862/img00538to.jpg

I hope that works. This is my first time uploading pics. The first 4 are Axim pics and the last 2 are PSP pics. The PSP is flawless! It comes with all the goodies (headphones w/ remote control, AC adaptor, slip case, USB cable, microfiber screen cloth, little joystick buttons that plug onto existing joystick to make it 3D, 32mb memory stick duo, original box and owner's manual, Blackhawk Down movie, and Dead to Rights UMD game) It has a screen protector already on it that I can barely tell is there! It came with 2.0 firmware which I upgraded to 2.5 last Thursday. The web browser works awesome! I'd like to get the same out of this stuff as the Axim ($325).

As far as the magnesium case goes, I'd prefer to keep it with the Axim as a package deal. After replacing the VGA screen once already for $200, I'd hate to see someone else have the same unfortunate thing happen to them, and I think the magnesium case is a must have with the Axim...

Any scratches at all on the PSP? No matter how tiny, are there any noticable to the human eye? Defects / anything?

Same with the screen. Are there any noticable scratches on the phycial screen, not the screen protector, the physical screen.

I just sat down for a good 10 min. and looked at all the surfaces under a table lamp, and the only thing that I can see that even resembles a scratch is on the silver ring around the "PSP" symbol on the back of the unit. It's really hard to see, but it's definitely there. At first it looks like a cat hair, but it doesn't wipe off. A very thin line going across the silver ring around the psp symbol on the UMD cover. I can't find anything wrong with the front of the unit. That's why I put the screen protector on it. The screen is perfect under the protector and the rest of the unit is great, too. I would definitely give this a 9.5 out of 10 due to the scratch on the silver ring on the back. I'll try to take some pics of the back of the unit as well as the glossy surfaces and the screen on the front, if you're interested. I'm not a professional photographer, but I'll try to capture it as best as I can.
