The microdrive is a miniature hard drive. That indent you see is the spindle that the magnetic discs rotate around. Every microdrive has it, it’s just that the sticker has formed to the indent to show it. It is perfectly normal.

I put the case in the mail today (sorry I couldn't do it yesterday). It is going out USPS Priority Mail, insured for $30 with delivery confirmation.

Here is the tracking /confirmation number: 03041070000178581515

Give it a day or so for the number to get in the USPS system.
