This is not a Bluetooth device.. The gps unit is built into the mount. It is a direct connection so you only have one cord to worry about! No dying batteries on long trips. I have a unit just like this and i love it. I use it all the time. It recharges my Axim pretty fast too. I play games in traffic sometimes w/it too. :)

I have one unit for my own personal use, and i was going to give one to my brother for Christmas. This unit has been sitting in my closet taking up space. I paid 225 for the gps and 30 for the unit + shipping. Thats a total of 250+.

What version is the software and maps? Is it WM5 compatible?

The map version is the one they are currently advertising on arkons site.

I have no idea what WM5 means. It funtions perfectly with my Dell and XP software on my laptop.
