Hey Gang,

I originally put this system together last month to use as a home media server, but since I've got my iMac, I've found I don't really use it as much as I intended. We're going to be moving in a few weeks, and it's one less thing to pack up so I figured I'd try to sell it. I bought the G4 from a local seller on Craig's List for $300, and everything else was purchased new from different Internet retailers. I figure I've got about $800 wrapped up in it, but I know how these things go, so I'll take $700 OBO shipped in the US. Send me a PM if you're interested. Here are the specs:

Right now it's setup as RAID 5, but the card can also do JBOD, RAID 0, 1, or 0+1. It's very easy to setup and manage using the web interface for the card either from the local system or any other system on the network. This was really a great system, and could probably be used for a lot more than just a media server, like digital audio or video. If you have any questions, just shoot me a PM.
