WTB: 3800 series motherboard

I need a 3800 series motherboard. Mine works but I think it has problems with using a sleeve so I want to buy a replacement motherboard.

A broken handheld woudl be fine, just so long its any one of the 3800 series models.

I wonder if you replaced it with a 3970 motherboard would it still work?? The mobo is the main thing after all, all you need is a screen because mine is broken
