Hi! A co-worker of mine who goes by Axim-Rob here referred me. :)

I am selling a Dell Axim X51v PocketPC I bought for my wife about 18 months ago to celebrate the conception of our son. Dell sold it as a "road warrior package" and includes the desktop dock, 2 rechargeable batteries, travel dock with AC and DC adapters, video presentation cable, Dell/NAVTEQ wired GPS and navigation software, aluminum RhinoSkin case, extra styli, and a pack of screen protectors! The unit has seen ZERO use and was only opened to make sure everything was there and working. Unfortunately my world was turned upside down and I have found myself a single father to my baby boy. I don't have use for this and quite frankly could use the money... Please, serious offers only. I am asking $389 for the whole package and will throw in a brand new A-Data Turbo 2GB Secure Digital memory card for a package sale!

I'm sorry to hear of your personal problems.

Can you please confirm that the model is x51v (i.e. VGA screen) and supply the following details:
- CPU speed
- amount of ROM
- ROM version

You can retrieve the information by going to System Information in Settings | System.

Also, will you take PayPal payment and ship to Sydney, Australia?

In fact, even better, would you consider performing the transaction through eBay?

Thank you, losing my wife to gain my son has been challenging and a mixed blessing.

Yes, this is an X51v unit, 624 MHz, 256 MB ROM, and the ROM version is A12. I may be able to work out the foreign shipping, but I do know that it can be rather expensive as I regularly ship to my company's office in St. Leonards, New South Wales.

I will probably turn to eBay if I don't have any takers by private sale. I've been and eBay member for nine years, and have perfect feedback, but haven't bought and sold that many items.

Well, don't know if it will help since I only post occassionally these days, but I can say that I do know Scott and sent him here. Even though he missed using the "FS", Scott's a good guy!
