It was my opinion from the first couple of replys that this was bogus. Anyone that vague obviously is hiding something.

Although it is good that it was brought out, the way in which it was brought out is not. The appropriate thing to do would be to alert Chris (I eventually did this) of the situation, not to just jump all over the member and insult them and their credibility. Luckily, everything seems to have worked out OK, so I think we should all just let this thread die.

haha, i was late to class because i was reading this thread, wow, things have come along way since i first said something, this guy did rip me off, there are huge things that dont make sense, but anyway, i would like to see action taken against this person, obviously creating a fake website, and fake contacts is a little more thought out than a run of the mill scam, please just leave this board alone steeda, i personally would probably never buy from anyone on this board unless it happened to be someone that had been around along while

LOL. No I'm not married... I am 18 September 9th so StangNet must be jumpin ahead on me.

My black GT was traded in abut a month ago for the '03 GT (9MPG)

I ended up buying X30 624MHz with cradle myself from Dell.ca for $449-10%+FreeShipping+Tax=$464Cdn.

Guess I lost about $10Cdn by making up the money order for (Travis Welty), and later on the same day cancelling the money order in the bank.
But I'm glad I cancelled the money order now.....

I keep thinking about this. Of course I bow to your veteran state :nw: , so I wonder if you are right....
On one hand Chris is very busy, so... I think that that's what mods are for.
And also in general a strong comunity works better than 1k mods. So I'm actually proud that we cought the guy.
On the other hand I agree, rudeness is never a solution. Even if we are human and sometimes anger takes over.
I mean I feel so upset in this situation. I really hate people that try to rip off the others hard earned money.

Anyway, this thread was very entertaining :icon_band . Let's keep it alive!
