I think the biggest problem is when you start a for sale thread, you should be as descriptive as possible with pictures, references, etc. Especially if you joined just to sell something.

I've been in the buy/sell/trade business since 2000 and have been screwed countless times as I'm sure many others have. It's hard to trust someone who opens a post the way this guy did. Sorry for sounding like a douchebag though :(

I'm still waiting for more info about the X30 :-/

I don't think anyone is ripping on him, just being cautious.

I, personally, would question how or why a 17yr old would buy TWO similar PDA's from someone and realize they didn't need it? And his boss also bought TWO pda's? Am I the only person that buys one PDA at a time?

Nothing against you CUAT, welcome to Aximsite - but there's always a sense of caution when your asking someone to send a money order for a few hundred dollars to a stranger, and ask them to trust that you will ship the PDA.

The X30 is the 624MHz and has a brand new cradle for it. All the software is included. I want maybe $250 for it? I donno. I will see if I can get a picture soon.

What point is that? I am 17, I can't get a credit card until next summer... I am going to school this year 20 miles from home, obviously a car is needed. I don't get what's going on here!!??

Cuat, don't take it personally, the last few FS threads I've seen were very shady indeed so a lot of peeps are very skeptical...

I'm interested in your X30. Can you tell me it's condition? What all does it include other than the PDA and cradle and software? Does it include a memory card or any extra software? Stylus? Are there any scratches on it? Can you get pictures?

Can you do COD? I'm pretty sure that's the safest way to do this... That way the PDA gets to me and I can pay for it when I see/inspect it/whatnot.

We can do that or you can ship first. You could ship it overnight and I could ship you a money order back overnight. I have plenty of good references.

In regards to the negatives on ebay, One was a seller of a $5 item who said he took paypal but when I tried to pay via paypal it wouldn't let me send him $$ via cc even though the auction said cc paypal. So after trying to contact him for 10 days I gave up and bought the adaptor locally. The seller started emailing me after I bought the adaptor and fixed his paypal and still expected me to pay him even though he was the one that screwed up... Some people can't take responsibility for their actions.

The other negative was from a seller who was VERY rude and after I left negative feedback about his attitude he left me negative feedback to get back at me.

I'm not sure if you mean credit card or not, but I've had a debit card since my 17th birthday (I'm 18 now)...besides, a 17-18 year old has no business w/ a credit card, it can only get you into trouble.

Werd.... I got credit cards when I was 18 and got seriously in debt... You just aren't responsible enough to use a credit card that young especially if you were raised poor as dirt.
