FIRST!!!!! Yeah!
Just dowmloaded the trial and had a play with it. Nice! One "gripe" is that the keyboadr fills up more of the screen than the document you´re working on. But other than that, it is faster and easier to use than any other keyboard I´ve used to date. Why I should win a copy? Coz I was first here!! And because I WANT it. But seriuosly, this is a really nice piece of kit and I´d really like to have it but just too tight to pay for it. ´Nuff said!

I agree with the above sentiment, that the keyboard does take up a larger amount of screen real estate, but I do think it is an improvement over the native keyboard, as that is impossible to use with anything but the stylus (and not even easily then either).

I'd have to say, having used the older versions and this new one, that the corrections mode (which I don't recall in the previous versions) is quite useful, especially when trying to do text entry via fingertip or fingernail. Between that and the gestures (which were also missing from earlier versions, but which was a feature I enjoyed from Fitaly), it's a lot better as a keyboard than the standard WM one has ever been.

I think they should include a large layout WITH some characters like . , @ ! e etc. and make the older layouts compatible (the black one!)
![]() Edit - Got the old black skin to work (had to copy it from the old folder and include a skin.ini with correct colors). Different layouts should also be possible to create so the height of the keyboard could be adjusted, if you're up to skinning! Very nice. (Just need to find out all the codes for the keys)

I think the response time could be a bit faster (I've set the response settings to fastest and it's still just a little laggy), but otherwise it seems to be a pretty cool big SIP. I can actually touch type with it, so that's useful.
The quick and easy access to other layouts is useful too. I'm getting a strange trial bug though -- it keeps telling me the demo's up, but I've just downloaded the darn thing ![]()

Nice landscape support, gestures over sensitive, key board to wide in portrait mode, on axim some problems with letter preview, really hard to use with sounds turned off. [this is not an entry, just an observation]

It is a very functional program but as others have said it takes up too much of the screen. I liked it, because it is way better then the Windows keyboard wouldn't mind my own copy. I like all of these programs that copy the functionality of the Iphone, too bad Dell never made smartphones, that would have been smart. Well so would they have been if they kept making the Axim. Thankfully that they are still making programs for WM5

I am actually quite amazed at how good it is at detecting my finger tip taps. Of course, there are some times when it detects the wrong letter but with the text prediction in WM, it does help. And it's interesting that the letters pop up very much like it does in the iPhone virtual keyboard.
It does take a bit of getting used to, especially with the iSkin layout that I can only have 2 lines of text viewable. But quite nice. Being a Treo 750 user that already has a keyboard, I'm not sure how useful it can be, but it can help when I just want to tap without pressing the keys.

I have always been happy using whatever Windows Mobile's "block recognizer." It's fast, accurate, and easy to learn. On the other hand there are times when my stylus falls out and I need an alternate input method, or my wrist gets tired of writing on the screen. It is at these times that I could really make use of a product like Resco Keyboard Pro. Contrary to most of the other respondants I dont have a problem with how much screen real estate the keyboard uses. I realize that this use of space is what actually makes it usable with your fingers. I was very pleased with
... Nevermind All that stuff is great, but I just noticed the BEST THING OF ALL!!!!!!!!! It has a Greek keyboard, so now, when I do all those nerdy things I do, like learn Ancient Greek, I can carry it with me. No more will posting on my favorite scholarly forums be limited to my desktop computor. w00t! ρεσκο κηβοαρδ προ ισ τε βεστ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lets see block recognizer do that!

Pros:
1. I find the KB very responsive on my Treo 750. I loaded it to get used to on screen kb input in preparation for my Touch Cruise. 2. The calculator function is very cool and is helpful for spreadsheet entry when in a single cell. 3. The iSkin is nice and "spacey" with enough space between the keys to make it comfortable. Cons/wishes: 1. Needs a better way or at least a documented way of changing the kb. There are plenty of config and map files just no real documentation on how to manipulate keys. 2. Need a way to be able to press-and-hold a key to generate another key. For example, I want to be enter a "_" (underscore) by press and holding the "-" dash key. 3. Would be nice if you could resize the KB on the fly ala TouchPal.

I LIKE it! Although I agree with others that it takes up a bunch of screen space, I think I could get used to that. The large letters make it easy for my old eyes and trembling fingers to hit the correct keys.
My one wish for it is a small time entry option, kinda like the handy built in calculator, so I don't have to switch screens when I hit the colon. (I do this often in the spreadsheets I've made for work.) ![]() Thanks for a great product! If I don't win a copy I'll be looking into spending some hard earned dollars on it.
