Wow, quite a few posts have already covered what I would use it for. But hey I wouldn't be truthful if I didn't say that I would use it to hook up my External HD to try all the PPC apps that I have and haven't used.

I would be delighted to have such a card. I would immediately use it for easier transfer of files from my X51v to flash drives, but also would hope to get my Axim communicating with modems, GPS receivers, ethernet adapters, USB-to-serial adapters, BSR-X10 controllers... the mind boggles.

Wow! This would be great for using external storage, maybe even keyboards, mice, or printers.

I definitely want one of these!

I would use it to connect to my flashdrive so I can transfer files from work very easily on the road. I could use the extended storage to save movies and transfer them to the PDA. A keyboard can be connected to my x51v when using Word or Excel.

External Hard drive would be the first thing.

humm... the mind spins with all the options. every one has all ready put up some really good Ideas I would have to say a few options come to mind, other then the fact that your pda becomes truly useable and connectable with the addition of usb, Might be external HD, web cam?, external wifi antenna?, external CD/DVD drives, external monitor with a simple usb adaptor? I could go on and on! If I dont win I am getting one of those!!

Connecting USB harddrive to my Axim

I would hook up the Hyperdrive Space (that I use to backup photos) to it to review and edit shots. How cool is that?

This will be a great way to connect my Axim to my Wolverine MVP9080 Hard Drive/photo backup to view photos on the Dell VGA screen.

I really could use one to connect a powered usb hub to my axim, then connect a multi-card reader and portable external hd to access, view or transfer files between my axim, flash cards & external drive. I could use this setup to save pictures or movies taken from my digital camera to free-up space and view them without tying up my camera.

Hmmm.... I think I would use it to connect a thumbdrive (making things much easier for transferring documents at school) and then connect a gaming controller to it to make playing games (native Windows Mobile games or emulators) a whole lot easier. Connecting a keyboard or mouse to it would be good too. It will be that much closer to a desktop.

I'll simply put it this way: for me the question would better be asked "what would you not do with SEPDA II? My answer: Nothing. I'd absolutely find every possible use for a usb host cf card with my Axim...starting with a usb hub, of course, to support all of the devices I'd be connecting. I've always wanted to use a camera with my Axim, with it not being a PPCPhone, and lacking that feature. But to top that, I'd enjoy being able to connect a portable usb printer (is that possible? ). And another interesting thing would be to test out my Axim with a usb mouse/keyboard combination...can you say truly mobile? The list could go on and on.

I need the USB Host to conect one Hard Disk to mi pda, to see videos, and ger more music roms and games, and to integrate a big keyboard usb with a USB Switch.

I Will love to use it with My USB WLan G to gain Wifi on my X51
