Creative Zen Vision W.. Where did they go?

I purchased a ZVW last year and love(d) it. But in December it decided to go for a walk and I have not yet found it. I went to go buy a new one, and they seem to be becoming tough to find. They are not on the creative site, and doing some quick searching via price grabber, i only see it being sold on New Egg.

So I guess I am wondering what I should do? Are they phasing the ZVW out to bring something new in? Is there a new large screen/large non-Hard Drive model coming out soon? I really want to know, but have not yet found a good answer.

I was just about to bring up a topic about this. Both about ZVW and also just ZEN.
It seems to me that with the new price deduction, they are planning something.
I was planning to get Creative Zen 4GB for my wife, since 4GB allows you to use SDHC, there is no reason why we need to buy any higher capacity version.

I haven't seen the Vision series for a while, though.

Edit: Check this video, she is stating that Creative will no longer make Hard Drive players.

Thanks for the link. I had read a few things about the "Zen". It looks like a great player. But 16 gigs is just not enough room. I guess I'll wait.. or just break down buy the Cowon A3.

16GB is not enough room? What are you planning to store in that thing? If 16 is really not enough, you can get 32GB Zen Flash.. $300.

Well I actually use my portable storage for a lot of things besides tunes and vids. I do a bit of photography and need to transfer my shots off the cards to reformat them so I can keep shooting. Sometimes 3 two gig cards does not cut it on a long day. Besides filling the cards, i also need to give proofs of the shots while away from a laptop, and my D200 screen does not cut it. I also keep many portable apps, like firefox and FTP software (from portableapps.com), and a web server (apachefriends.org) so I can get work done on ANY computer without having to install anything.

Plus I am a music whore. So Apps + photos + servers + programming + music + graphics + backups = more then my 60 gig Zen had room for!

OK, then. Maybe there is a "portable enclosure" you can buy and use your own hard drive.. Who knows.
