Does the new firmware update fix the playback problem from SD slot? ie not being able to resume after turn off, or not listing the songs under regular music list by putting them into files storage section, and not being able to shuffle among them. IN addition can you record from FM, and how well does the voice recorder work? Lastly, is there a way to turn on "storage mode" on the device, so files can be transferred without software on the host machine.

I have the 16gb Creative Zen.I like the size of the Zen compared to my previous Creative Zen Vision M.Same screen size but alot smaller than the M.I may eventually upgrade to the 32Gb version of the Zen.Very nice player.Just not much choices outside of Creative in way of aftermarket cases for these Zens.I contacted DLO and they had no info they could provide.

Sorry.I can't answer your question because I don't have a sd card for my Creative yet to test that feature.I see the 4gb players all the time at Walmart or on Creative's website or on Ebay.I have seen the 16gb version for about$200.00 these days on Ebay as well.
It is out of stock now at crutchfield. I recently bought a few things there, and I had to return something because it was not a perfect fit for my car, so now I have $60 credit at crutchfield and I was going to use this towards that.. :( now that it is sold out, I will have to wait. This maybe a good thing actually, in the meantime, hopefully I can get some answers on this topic regarding its playback and the things I was concerned about.
