Nice tutorial anshu, but dbPowerAMP 11 requires a lincense fee after the trial period to use mp3 encoding. You can still get
dbPowerAMP 10.1 and use it with all their codecs for free.
Even though dbpowerAMP is a great program, you should included instructions on the
free rippers such as
CDex and
EAC. After all, after spending big bucks on your music player you don't want spend more money just to use it if you don't have to. ;)
Once you have ripped your tunes and added them to the ones on your computer, the volume levels can be all over the place. How about including a tutorial on
MP3Gain to level the volumes, and note that some "clipping" will not hurt.
I agree that there are programs such as MusicMatch and WMP that do it all OK, but you can't beat these small programs written to do one task, and they do that one task very good.
