Dell Tablet PC I decided, after a second anonymous tip about Dell in the process of working on a Tablet PC, I would make a forum for it.

A Dell Tablet PC

I have received a second anonymous tip about Dell working on a Tablet PC. I normally do not read much into such rumors, but two things make me take this one seriously.
  1. This is the second such tip (other one was a couple months ago)
  2. The IP address resolves in Round Rock Texas (so was the other tip)
So, for now here is a forum to expand on this tip.

I'd like to see a Dell convert-a-tablet, and a UMPC as well. I was reeeaaallly tempted when one (a gateway) showed up on woot.com a few weeks ago.

What's the IP address, Chris?

Hi, this is very interesting, thanks. Can anyone say what the dimensions of a tablet PC might be, please? (Obviously, considerably larger than Pocket PC??)

I must admit, at first I thought the UMPC is a great idea -- 7" screen and WinXP. But considering it isn't as portable as the Axim nor as versatile and powerful as the M1210... I might have to hold my money until Dell show me the UMPC version of the M1210.

WHOA! That would be good.

What I really want is for Dell to make a Pocket PC Phone. That would kill.
