Dell Tablet PC I decided, after a second anonymous tip about Dell in the process of working on a Tablet PC, I would make a forum for it.

There have been SO many rumors, and notice the word "May". But that would explain dell ending the axim.

I'll believe it when Dell posts something on their web site.

This PDA phone had better match the X50v/X51v in hardware power! I'm sick of seeing only the O2 XDA Flame and Sharp EM-ONE packing any sort of capable graphics accelerator nowadays! PXA270 is a given, though I want to see a PXA320 device this time. VGA screen is also a given. 128 MB of RAM would be appreciated. Thumbboard would be EXTREMELY appreciated(the one big thing I miss in my jump from the T|C to the X50v).

It's just that I'd hate to see Dell cancel their powerful products and bring out yet another underpowered and overpriced convergence device in their place. A 600 US$ or less PDA phone with the same specs as an X51v with the addition of a cellular radio and a thumbboard could be a serious contender, being that most VGA convergence devices are around the 1000 US$ mark. It may not beat the Flame and EM-ONE if it still uses the 2700G rather than the GoForce 5500, but the X50v and X50v are very popular for having high-end capabilities at a not-so-high-end price.

Huh, this is my Ultimate-Answer-to-Life,-the-Universe,-and-Everything-nd post...

If it is anything close to as good as these fine pieces I will most likely ditch my Axim (although I'll probaly ditch it for either die 8150 or the 7150 of the ultimates anyway)

But if Dell brings out another crappy QVGA device like HTC does all the time then they can just die. Because killing a VGA PDA line for a QVGA Smartphone line would be very, very stupid IMO
