Handy Launcher Cmd. Line: ?

Hi!

I have handy menu and handy launcher and they're excellent. I bought handy launcher last night and have set up my favourite programs for quick launch. It works great.

What is the Cmd line and what do you use it for?

Well, on a PC, the cmd line is basically a dos prompt. Now you've got me curious. Now I'm going to have to look this up.

The command line is an optional parameter that will given to the program you are executing. (most of the time You don't have to worry about it).
and the behaviour of the command line is different from an application to the other (many applications ignore the command line anyway)
and mostly it's used to indecate which file to open with the program (if no parameters is given this mean just open the program)
E.x. if you make a shortcut to MediaPlayer and you put the command line as an mp3 file , when you execute this command the media player will strat and play this mp3 file
while if you don't put anything in the command line the media player will just start.

Keep in mind that you can also have a shortcut to your mp3 directly, and in this case if you execute the mp3 shortcut the "default" mp3 player will start and play it.
