That's right, the set of MSReader activation files must reside in the \Windows folder. There may be some obscure registry mod one can do, or an XML file edit perhaps, but no one seems to have reported this. All I know for certain about these is that one can back them up, avoiding having to re-activate over and over if you must hard reset and rebuild from scratch or if you get a new device. Just keep a copy on a card and dump these files back into the Windows folder when you need them, provided it's for the same MSN ID. They're not transferrable between users, as DRM-protected ebooks are linked to one particular ID.

Add that can be moved with no apparent problem:

pocketWinc (Cirond)

I already had several that have been mentioned. I have moved them w/GSFinder for sometime. Usually works for any program you have installed to BIS or a SD card. Probably for CF memory as well but I save my CF slot for Bluetooth, WiFi, 56K modem, ect. This list really should be kept in a single spot where it is easier to refer to, maybe a "Sticky" that someone could maintain.

It's good to have your own forum.

So, how about a link to what your program can do? I thought it was just another file cleaner. I've been using SK's remover.

MemMaid is way more than just a memory cleaner.
It does lots of things. You can take a look at our product page for a short list

We have lots of reviews as well, here are some (Those reviews were done before the release of 1.4 so some features of 1.4 are not talked about)

Raynne,
Do you want to take responsibility of maintaining the list of "movable DLLs"?

Because your post is the first one, you can edit it to always have an up-to-date list (taken from others' comments)

As is the case for Macromedia's ActiveX/Flash plugin, a directed CAB installation of the .NET Compact Framework will also result in the bulk of installed DLLs to a user-defined location, with no need for later intervention. And of course, for WM2003 there's no need to install this one...

I've had the Flash6 plugin's flash.dll and swflash.dll (total size just over 1.35MB) installed to SD memory on my PPC2002 iPAQ 3835 since the day I downloaded the thing. CabInstl or my above registry tweaks will both make such custom location installs a breeze.

I'll do my best. I may only be able to update it once a day, though. So bear with me.

Actually, all the Westtek DLL's work fine from storage. The only problem is, I'll need them in memory if I use a VGA output card. Same with a few other peices of software, such as Microsoft Portrait, if I'm using a camera.

The .NET Framework files work from storage? I'm surprised. Hadn't even tried them.

Just found a bunch of files which DON'T work from storage - msce files (msceimagelist.dll, etc.) cause various apps to have errors. Perhaps if I reregistered them, but not worth the trouble.
