Does anyone know if the Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis will be come out in ebook format?

I believe it was public domain at one time.

It is not in public domain. In the US public domain kicks in 70 years after the death of the author. CS Lewis died in 1963 so it would not go into public domain until 2033.

We need copywrite reform!

I bought the hardcover but wanted the ease of reading it electronically. It's hard to lug a book around to work and school and doctor's offices and such. Plus, I hate to ruin my book collection. All I can say is it's possible...

I have had the same issue with several books. It is possible.

I just wish the eBook thing would catch on. If more people got into it the publishers would pay attention to it more. Unfortunately when I tell the average person I read eBooks I get the standard response about not wanting to stare at a monitor or sit at a desk to read.
