Question Are there ebook readers designed for WM5?

I've been a long-time user of MobiPocker 4.9, but after upgrading to WM5 (which I like, so I don't plan on going back), Mobipocket seems quite unstable, frequently freezing and forcing me to use the switchar bar to kill it and then restart it. The whole PDA doesn't freeze, just Mobipocket.

Mobipocket has had a number of annoyances I'm getting tired of anyway. So I'm looking for some other ebook reader that might be stable on WM5.

Features I'd like to see:

* Support for VGA mode and rotated screens
* Support for white-on-black text as well as black-on-white
* Auto-scroll
* Support for the default font rather than just custom fonts.
(I find the default OS font perfectly legible on my X50v and see no need
for some pixelated font to replace it)
* Occasional auto-saving of my position in a book rather than just when I close manually. I *never* close a book manually unless I'm done with it, so when the program crashes or I have to soft-reset, it's really annoying to find myself leafing through four hundred pages looking for wherever I last left off.
* I'd like the ability to turn off page-turning, hilighting, selecting text, dictionary lookups, etcetera. I only need to turn pages and prefer to do that with hardware buttons. I don't need a random bump on the screen to pop anything up in my face or zip me a hundred chapters through the book.
* I'd like for the options menu to be a menu and not a separate document like uBook seems to treat it. I want to get back to my reading just by tapping 'OK' and not having to browse to the book I was just reading...

I don't want much. Just a simple, reliable book reader that doesn't try to be too smart for its own good.

Mobipocket has a beta version available that I have been using for 4 months now. I am not WM5 yet but you could give it a try.

I like it. http://www.mobipocket.com/dev/beta/

MobiPocket Reader 5.0 was just released yesterday. It is a free upgrade for owners of Pro Reader 4.5-4.9 and supports WM5.

WOW! MobiPocket 5.0 is very nice, even on an X5!
