I found ebooks.com had a great selection so I purchased Freakonomics. I compared Adobe with MSReader and it looked to me like reader had better features so I downloaded and activated both desk top and PPC versions before downloading my new e-book. When I downloaded the ebook it showed up in my desktop reader library. I transfered it to my PPC but no way could my PPC reader see it. I tried some things that ebooks.com help suggested but they didn't work and they gave up. I suspect either the PPC reader can't find it because of some file structure problem or the "activation code" of the desktop version and PPC version of Reader are not the same, even though they were activated from the same passport sight. Reading other postings makes me wonder if I should just give it up - especially since the only thing Microsoft help could tell me was that it was a Dell problem - why am I suspicious of that! Can anyone help?

RWBlake:
Have you tried tapping on the .lit file itself? When you tap on a book it should initiate the Reader with the book and then your book should be registered with the library. NOTE: If you get a file association error this is a Reader bug and can be fixed by using one of the file explorer programs available like Resco's explorer.
If you still can't get the Reader to recognize the file please feel free to contact me offline and I will do my best to assist you or contact our toll free support line at 1-866-834-8317
Sincerely,
Christine - Microsoft Reader Team
