MobiPocket - will firmware change alter PID?
Hi,

I have an Axim x50v running WM5 and am considering downgrading to 2003SE for the time being. Will this change my MobiPocket PID when I reinstall it after the downgrade? And how about future firmware updates for WM5 (if these are ever released for WM5): does this change the PID? I know the Axim x50v has had at least five firmware updates, but most MobiPocket stores only allow you to change the PID once. How does this work in practice?

Thanks!

Posted topic above a few weeks ago, and unfortunately no one apparently knew the answer.

A week or so ago I couldn't take WM5 at all anymore, so I decided to downgrade to WM2003SE. To my joy, the OS/firmware change did not alter the MobiPocket PID, so I can still read my eBooks
