Help with MS Reader

Well I finally have move up to a X50V 624. I have Windows Mobile Second Edition on it. So I have loaded MS Reader for the PPC and activated. Now MS Reader comes up but when I look at the help screen to see if I really Activated it is blank. It should say activated for and then my name. I open a book and I have numbers where I should have graphics to change pages forward or back. I am able to open books. Is there some patch I should use? Can someone give me some ideas here?

Are you sure you downloaded the right version?

Tomorrow I'll take a look again at the Microsoft website. It was the version of reader for the pocket pc in the upper right hand corner of the page.

The version is 2.4.1 (build 5323) for the MS Reader PPC I downloaded.

In the mean time you can try to uninstalla nd reinstall it. Maybe a file got corrupted during installation.

I'll give it a try. I'll let you know how it turns out one way or the other.

You might try checking out this thread.

It sounds at least in part like your issue, and has some good tips.

Well it looks like I have MS Reader running under the correct rev. now.
I have activated, I think, since I can open copy protected files.
Activation in settings in the older version of Reader would say Activated for (your email address/passport id). Now it says Activated for MS Reader.
So Bleyn thanks the thread you sent me to discribe the way my screen looked exactlly. But doing a reinstall as suggested by Frenchy is what I tried first and that fixed my problem.

Thanks to both of you for the help.
