Adobe Reader ?
I installed the latest version of Adobe Reader into my x51v. It says that it is not designed for WM5 but it seems to run, however it does not seem to "see" my SD card (i.e. I can not navigate to files on that card). Any thoughts? or do I just have to wait for a new version?

Are your files in the "My Documents" folder on your SD card? There are some programs, and I believe Adobe Reader is one of them, that will not recognize any files unless they are in My Documents, but you can create that folder on your SD or CF cards, and it should work.

I read PDF's from my SD card all the time, using Adobe Reader 2 on my X51v. Adobe Reader 2 works just fine with WM5.

Ok, well if the Adobe Reader 2.0 works well for you I must be doing something wrong.
I go to the open file page and can not see the SD card. My files are in \SD Card\My Documents\My eBooks ? It does not appear anywhere? It just sees the My Documents folder that is in "main memory" - how do I get it to look at the My Document folder on the SD card?
Thanks.

Yeah; My reader finds all my acrobat files, no matter where they are... but I did install ver 2, but after the install (add/rem programs) indicates I have ver. 1? No matter, it works fine!

If all else fails, here's another program that you can use to view pdf files on your PDA.

Ok, By creating a file of the SD card called "ignore_my_docs" I was able to get Adobe to see the SD card, but it only sees on directory layer deep? Is this correct? In other words it can now see the My Documents folder (on the SD card) but when I open that folder it does not see any folders contained in it, just files at that level and not my eBooks folder \My Documents\My eBooks???
?
