I've used MobiPocket's store, as well as Baen Free Library, and have no issues with either service... using MobiPocket Reader, of course. I've also picked up $30 hardcover Baen titles (new releases) through their Webscriptions.. and I must say, they do pretty well on the adapting to Ebook formats. :D It doesn't mean I've stopped reading paperbacks, but this is a nice alternative as well.

I get books at eReader.com . They run specials every now and then, discounts on bundled books, that makes them a little cheaper than print copies. Also they offer a 10% thru their newsletter, and every once in a while have freebies available.

I use my public library. More and more are going digital. I can "borrow" 5 books at a time for 3 weeks. Make CD's or put on myaxim51v. Check your library out...you might be surprised!
