there are several versions of the oxford english dictionary available, but they are for purchase; the quality of the text would be quite good, I would imagine. I have their new oxford american dictionary (american english, if that can be!)--they package a ppc version with the book itself, and I found a good used copy on amazon.

Yup, it's pretty good. Also see http://www.aximsite.com/boards/showthread.php?t=135152 on it and its direct alternatives.
