The best text to speech solution I've seen for PPC is Sakrament Teller. But it will not be able to work with ms reader or adobe pdf. You will however be able to convert these files (works best with text files) and use them with Sakrament Teller.

No I'm sorry to say. I have spent a lot of time looking over the last few years.
My son is dyslexic, so having a text to speech program on a pda would be a big help.
There a lots for desktops and laptops. AT&T has some really great voices also.
Very human. Now that my son is a freshman in college now this software is very helpful.
I continue to look. If I find something I will past the word on here.

Cepstral (http://www.cepstral.com/) used to sell all of their voices and software for Pocket PC, but now their Download page says you have to contact the sales department (sales@cepstral.com) if you're interested in WinCE products.

I tried out their demo a while back (when it was available from the download page), and the voices they offered were really good and surprisingly small (about 10mb, I think). And they seemed to work fine on my Axim X30. I particularlly liked the "Millie" voice.

Hope that helps.

Best,
