Anybody have a recommendation concerning Bible Software Axim51?
Does any have a recommendation for a good Bible Software? I just purchased a Axim 51 and I would like to use it at church as my Bible. A couple of things I'm looking for:
1. easy to look up scripture
2. has a Strongs Concordance
3. I would like several versions of the Bible, KJV, ASV, NKJV ect...
4. I would like to be able to take notes about a verse and be able to recall it
5. I would like to be able to highlight text
6. A daily reader plan
7. Commentary or Commentaries
I've researched several websites but what I want to know is there anyone out there who has used their Axim 51 such as this what Bible software you use and/or recommend. Thanks for your help. Nick19
I use quickverse on my x50 (running ppc 2003) and I really like it. I don't have the strongs concordance, but I'm thinking that you may be able to get that as an add on book.
I use e-Sword. It takes some work to get a lot of different version (like the NKJV), but I really enjoy it. Best of all, it's free! It has all the features you mention as well. :approve:
Welcome to Aximsite, What are you looking for? I just went to www.download.com and search for the word bible in their mobile section and got many hits. Some are free other are not. Check it out.

The only other really good option (beside e-sword) in my mind is olivetree.com. There are some free and some pay bibles. It depends on what your prefered version is as to what software you will want. Some versions have exclusive deals with different software providers.
laridian is nice, especially after the update. they are also very nice in letting you return your software within 30 days. it is a little pricey though. still not what I consider perfect, or even excellent though :(. definitely good, maybe even great.
definitely look for a discount if you go laridian, they often give $10 discounts and stuff. the niv study bible deal is probably the best. you will probably want a strongs translation too.
Thanks for all the responses. Sorry about double posting the same question but I was unsure about where it needed to go to get the maximum response.
I tried e-sword before but I was having trouble... I could see that it downloaded into my Axim but I could not pull it up. I know it's operator error... I just have to bite the bullet, pull out all the instruction manuals, and read.
