I don't think you'll find any public domain Photoshop ebooks. I haven't seen any.

Visit my site… the link is in my profile. ;-) There is a complete beginner's Photoshop course there, plus lots of tutorials. Just click Photoshop in the left column. Also, on the front page there is a link to a free PDF eBook from In Pictures. It's not that great, though.

I imagine it'd be hard to look at screen shots on a PDA, though.

I have two hardcopy books and the tutorial that comes with the product, but for questions I usually go to Photo.net.

IMHO, the bast way to lean is to just screw around with it until you learn something. thats how i learned photo shop...... and everything else i know....

haha, thanks for the advice but i think that without reading it and actually knowing what you'll achieve with "this" button.. it's quite hard... cuz once you want to do something but then have no idea HOW.. you're stuck.. and you keep doing all those things which you didn't want... u know what i mean?

I learned a little about Photoshop at school.Actually,I used it to design a Rabbit Center T-shirt,although washing it totally messed it up. I don't have photoshop at home.
