You get this error message sometimes if the version of the .pdb file isn't compatible with eReader - if you try and open an iSilo format .pdb with eReader, for example. Do you know for sure that your .pdb file was intended for eReader? If not, try iSilo.

I am using the free version of Ereader 2.6.3, with no problems, on my X51v. At the same time, I have only used the reader with books purchased at ereader.com and fictionwise.

JNDSDA, I don't know when you checked, but the eReader site now lists version 2.6.4 as the latest available download. Perhaps you could try this new version with your problem pdb files.

When I checked eReader.com it showed version 2.6.3, that was last Friday.
It was not me who's having problem with eReader. Thanks anyway.

I'm normally pretty savy and can get programs to work well for me but in this case I'm stumped. I bought the eReader for ppc and it came with a dictionary and a couple of books. I have tried every possible way I can figure out on getting the books to my CF card on the Ax and then opening the files. Is there a tutorial that might help or is someone patient enough to make a step by step process. The eReader on my PC is the free version but I paid for the Pro version for the PPC is that makes any difference. Thanks in advance for any help.

I put all my ereader format ebooks into the following directory (SD card for me but should work on CF as well): "\My Documents\Peanut Press"
Start ereader and it will automatically pick them up in that location.
