whats this with the 15$ licence. I've never paid for ubook. If they are making it nonfree I'll just stick with what I have now. It's close enough to perfect anyway.

I used to have ubook 0.9h beta installed on my axim, but then it stopped working one day where I couldn't even change display settings, and couldn't open any books (other than the 3 or 4 that I already had on the short list or recent items).

I installed the one from the link above, but the skin is much blurr-ier. Is this because the older version was not optimized for the new vga screens (I have an x51v)? If not, what settings do I need to adjust to fix the blurriness of the skin and text?

I turn OFF all the skin nonsense and set it for white text on a black background. Try different fonts until you find something you like. Make sure smooth fonts are turned on, try RGB or RGB-X mode, low contrast. I use Segoe UI at size 30.

uBook has an absolutely awful interface. I hate setting it up from scratch. But once it's dialed in it's worth it.
