convert mobipocket .prc file to lit/txt?

Hi,
I just wonder if it is possible to convert mobipocket .prc file to lit/txt?

Sure you can.
You can use the excellent freeware pdaConverter (http://www.jakewalk.de/wiki/pmwiki.p...e.PdaConverter) to convert to zTxt, Aportis or Plucker (it handels quite a lot of formats). From there you could always use the MSWord plug-in to make Lit-files, if you really want to do that :)

hi,
i downloaded it but i cannot open my pocket prc file.
i get the following error:

This is not a valid Doc file:
mypocket_file.prc
Creator ID: MOBI

How can I solve this problem? thanks, zilveer

Hm, that looks like a protected (DMR) book for the Mobipocket reader. If that is so - then sorry, no can do. It will open only with the reader of the same PID it is licensed to.

what that means is, it can not convert MOBI prc format. not all prc are the same. use text display to view which format it is.

anyone knows of a MOBI prc converter? Mobipocket does have a program to create a MOBI prc but not to reverse it back to text.
