Reading stand / holder for Axim?

I read a lot at lunch using the Axim x51v. I don't particularly want to bring the cradle with me - but wonder if there is something similar (without the cord) to sit tabletop that angles the screen enough to read comfortably?

Thanks

Welcome to aximsite. this might help, but it doesn't fold for easy traveling. There was also a cardboard stand for the ipod that would be easy to mod and make and relatively disposable. you should be able to google it and get some ideas.

I say buy the cheapy car cradle from target (there is thread about it, like $8 and by typeR or typeA or somebody) and get the stand thingy off the back of a picture frame and glue it to the little cradle thing. The car cradle thing is tiny and adding the picture deal will allow both portrait and landscape.

Or if your really crafty capable, using those little sticks to stir paint that home depot gives your for free, make a little u channel with one (cut it into 3 equal pieces and glue together) and a couple of stablizer feet with another two (glue to the bottom of the u channel)

....I_I....

^ This would be like a side-profile view

and if your like me, then cut the front piece in half (so it does not block the screen when set landscape), sand it down smooth and rounded, attach to a small rectangle piece of metal (to use as a balance to keep your axim stable and planted even if you accidentally knock it---about an inch all the way around). Put it all to gether with epoxy resin and spray it down with that cheap spray on liner to give it that mass produced look.

All great stuff, thank you! I'm gonna stick to the book end idea, though, as there is no Target or Home Depot down here in Cayman unfortunately.

Thanks again!

If you're looking for cheap - try this. Buy a small standup picture frame (4 x 3) and use two rubber bands to hold the PDA to the frame.

Actually - this could work well with the screws mentioned in the book-end idea too. Might do this! Thanks!
