Pocket eSWORD
I had pocket e-sword installed and working well on my rx5935. I installed the tom-tom update (file store ROM update) and the application stopped workin - probably 'cos I lost the .NET CF v2 sp2 install. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app with no success - it just returns an error that the folder selected does not contain any bibles - regardless of folder / location of the bibles.
Can anyone help me? ![]() Thanks in advance!

you need the .net framework for it to work.
then you may need to point the resource location to your bibles

Yes dot net is essential, and also MSQCL CE or something like that should be installed. I don't know exactly what that is, but that was what the problem with mine was and Rick Mayers, the author of the software just told me to reinstall and it worked fine.

Thanks - I've installed .NET CF sp2 (also required by WiFiFoFum) - to no avail. Tried to point to various locationjs where I now I have bibles stored, but the message remains the same
Think I may need to contact Rick and see what he says.

One more thing. The bibles are stored as .bbl files. Desktop eSword also uses .bbl files, but the two are not compatible. Only Pocket eSword files will be recognized by your device. If nothing works, then you've got it right: contact Rick and see what he says.

Good to hear. Now that you went through so much trouble to get it installed, you have to use it more right?

Just a comment. I finally got around to adding some more resources to my Pocket eSword setup. It's amazing what technology can do. Some people use one paper Bible. I carry 32 or so different versions, several commentaries, 4-5 dictionaries including strongs notes, and a whole bunch of other stuff in a package half the size! w00t! It seems as if Rick has added a bunch of new resources, becuase there was a ton of new stuff the other day when i checked. I can't wait to get a 8gig SDHC card!
