Hey Aximsite guys & gals,
I LOVE the way that Microsoft Reader and Palm eReader can use hyperlinks to jump around to various places inside of an eBook. With the FREE eBook publisher tools available, I can make my own eBooks now with included hyperlinks.
Question - does anyone know if there is any way for a hyperlink to start up an external application in which info can be passed (e.g. a scripting language interpreter, such as Mort Script) so as to start the external app in a specific state?
I figured out how to start an external application from an eBook hyperlink, but I don't know how to pass parameters to it, so it always starts in a default mode. A specific thing I want to achieve is using eBook hyperlinks to start up my BibleReader program on my Dell Axim X50V, but pass information to it so that it starts up at a specific Bible book, chapter, and verse.
Any ideas? Thanks!
