What are the best eBook sites, free and then not so free.

I already know of project Gutenberg. Also looking for a eBook version of the Douglas Adams Hitchhikers guide to the galaxie. Use to have it on my palm IIIxe.

I am not sure if they have HGttG, but my favorite free ebook site is www.blackmask.com.

It never fails to have something intersting, and as the name suggests it has an incredible collection of the old pulp classics...The Shadow, Doc Savage, The Avenger, etc.

Check it out....if ya know what's good for ya, buster.

Of course their is eBooks.com. Check the Discounts forum as there is a discount extended from eBooks.com for all of their ebooks.

I have always been a big fan of Memoware.com for free ebooks in the public domain. To purchase ebooks I prefer to use Fictionwise.com.

Check www.baen.com for freebie sci-fi books.
Another good one is www.fictionwise.com. They have freebies, regular discounts, multiple formats, multiple categories, and more.

Thanks for the link cageyjames. I was actually looking for the free version if there is one for PPC. I had a free download on Palm which was in five files. I and read it using iSol free on my Palm iiixe.
