Don't forget to BUY a book occasionally. Baen has a Webscription service for some recent SF releases that are reasonably priced ($4-$6 for a full novel). Fictionwise also has a very large library of books, most reasonably priced, some better than others.
If we want to keep ebooks going we need to support the vendors or they will all go the way of Barnes & Noble.
Well, given that B&N only sold MS Reader and PDF ebooks, the two worst formats in terms of draconian DRM schemes, it's not much of a surprise they went under. The vendors who have a better business model and offer more formats will survive.

Good comments. I am a big Baen supporter. (Physicaly and financialy) and their attitude is certainly reader friendly. Don't forget that if you buy a "month) of previously released books its only $15 and you can send a link to friend free of charge so they can download the same set of books that you get. Can't beat that.
:D
I to recommend Baen I have read some of the free books (Mutineers Moon, Hymn before Battle) then I have bought the rest of both series, (great books if you like Sci-Fi.
When I bought the last installment of the Hymn before battle series "Hell's Faire" there was a CD with all of the free E-books and a bunch of cover art and other extras. Really add's value. I also have bought hard copies after reading free worka dn I make sure to let Baen and Eric Flint know. That positive feed back will hopefully keep them active. An Raynee I'll take care to add you in future purchases. Any girl that keeps a snake hidden in her clsoet deserves to have a little support. LOL:D
Wow more Ebooks and some learning. Can I be a friend too? You know you can never have too many Ebooks on your Axim. :) Earthbound Trilogy another set added to my collection. Thanks.
Hey, cool! Thanks for the Earthbound trilogy link!
By the way, the PDB ones do not require Palm Reader Pro, the free version will read them just fine, and allow full navigation just like it's supposed to.
µBook users can get the Palm Doc ones - Palm Doc is the only PDB format that µBook supports.
