Thanks to these posts I found out I have the older version of Reader even though I've downloaded the new one multiple times. I removed Reader with the remove programs setting and did a find for reader* with resco explorer (hoping to purge everything and start over). I found 12 files but have no idea how to delete them. Any ideas?

hnelson59,
Thank you for your help. Thanks to your tip I can now read my ebook on my Axim. Thanks again.:D

Install the new one on top of the old one, but then (on your Pocket PC) go in and create a shortcut to MS Reader. You do this because the default icon for MS Reader takes you to the old version, which won't read some ebooks. This was my problem, but I fixed it by creating the shortcut. Hope ths helps.
The MS Reader installation program is brainless. I installed the new version to Built-In Storage to save RAM and the installer didn't update the shortcut or the associations, as you would expect. I would consider this to be a bug.
Of course, once you figure it out, it's easy to fix.
Here is a link to the newest PPC version of MS Reader. I have to thank you all for this thread. I just purchased an Ebook and was quite frustrated when I got the same error message posted above. Your helpful hints saved me a lot of frustration.
I too just bought an ebook. Became frustrated, looked up this thread and MS website. Between them, GOT IT.
Thanks for your experience and willingness to take the time write it up.
