eReader on SD Card

Hi - I had eReader in the main memory and because I thought my PPC was running to slow I moved it to my SD card. Before moving it I un-installed the application from the main memory and then I re-loaded it onto the SD card. The icon for eReader does not show under program, the icon that does show is the msreader.exe icon. When I click on it it stated tha it cannot fine "msreader (or one of its components). Make sure the path...

Obviously I did not load it correctly can anyone help? Please note that I am not that techy so simple instructions will help.

Thanks
Cathy

I re-installed it back on the main memory and I can now access the application but some of the fonts (where you "turn" the page at the bootom of the screen) are not correct (the arrows are missing and in their place there are numbers).

I find the eReader is very slow but not sure what else to do at this point.

eReader can only be installed in main memory. Not sure why it is running slow. Do you have the latest version?

Looks like eReader is up to version 2.5.2. That is for the free version, not the Pro version. Not sure what version eReader Pro is at reight now.

Hey Cathy, You can do it. I will try and keep it simple.. What the install program does each time you install reader is, it puts its own short cut into the programs folder that points to the default location.

To fix this all you have to do is this
1. Open file Explorer and browse to your SD card
2. Open the folder titled Microsoft Reader
3. Find the MsReader Icon and press and hold it untill you get a menu
4. Select copy from this menu.
5. Still using File Explorer browse to: windows\start menu\programs
6. Find an empty spot on this screen and press and hold your stylus untill you get a menu.
7. Select Paste shortcut.
Your pretty much done. Now you can open reader the same way you use to! You might want to rename the shortcut that you just pasted by pressing and holding the shortcut icon untill the menu comes up and selecting Rename.

Hope that helped..
-Miguel
