Writing a pdb file

Does anyone know where there is a free software (or method) to write a .pdb or similar file to be read on ppc? Living here, my credit card (from overseas) tends to get refused online, and I wish to create ebooks for ppc.

Thanks in advance!

I think Pocket CDB Builder might be the one you are looking for. But don't hold your breath.

By the way, on PPC, the database is .cdb. .pdb is the database format for Palm. Unfortunately if that is really what you are after, I can't really help, as I never used a palm before.

Good luck.:approve:

Thanks Stinkypaul. I have actually found just what I need now at Mobipocket.com, reason being that I had d/l a load of pdb files and have been reading them with mobipocket on my ipaq. Found it through google though - never thought about the application on the machine! Have got a free 14-day trial and it's great. Will buy it - US$29.95 that's only about 16 quid!

If you're trying to create Palm-formatted .pdb's the easy solution is called DocInOut. It's free, converts back & forth between the formats, and integrates into windows (right-click access).
