uBook Dictionary location question

I'm trying to get uBook reader to use a (larger) dictionary installed on a CF so that it doesn't take up room in main memory. But, as far as I can tell, you have to copy your dictionaries into the DICTONARY folder withing the uBook install directory. I tried copying a shortcut to the dictionary into that directory, but it didn't take. Any ideas? I like this application a lot, but it's not very well documented...
Thanks

No quick answer for you, but you may want to go straight to the source :

There is a contact link at the bottom of the page.

Hi jbb,

I have installed uBook onto my sd card (using cabinstl) and it runs fine from there. That also places the directory folder on the card, so your dictionary installation on the card ought to work. Worth a try?

At your suggestion, I e-mailed gowerpoint. They got back to me fairly quickly with a solution - edit the ubook.ini file in the ubook install directory so that DCT_PATH points to the desired directory. Hoorah!
