reader for reference?

hi.
can anyone recommend to me a good commercial (or free) reader for reference titles.(mainly things like encyclopedias, recipes, medical stuff, etc).

i was considering tomeraider. would this be a good choice?

i already have i-silo and msreader but find a lot of titles are not compatible with them.
there are so many different formats it can be offputting at times.

but i'm basically interested in a reader that can handle as many formats as possible (primarily for reference works, factual stuff as opposed to novels).
can anyone suggest one?
thanks.

Hi mkennedy,

I'm a big fan of uBook (inexpensive shareware)

http://www.gowerpoint.com

It can handle (from their website): "HTML, TXT, RTF, PDB and PRC (not secure) ebook files . . . can read directly from inside ZIP files, and supports BMP, GIF, PNG and JPG images."

Hope this helps.

Marc

I'll have to stick with TomeRaider, simply because it handles "Table of Contents" entries, like a Dictionary or Encyclopedia. uBook is great for most formats, but for reference, neither uBook nor any other "reader" program will work well, unless the book has a great table of contents.
