.LIT conversion

I've been trying to find a way to convert those #$% .LIT files to a format uBook can read. I found this utility ABC Amber Text converter;

http://www.thebeatlesforever.com/processtext/index.html

It converts to a lot of formats, and works great. The only thing is, it gives you a file without any linebreaks in the text, but i found a way to overcome this. Choose to convert to microsoft word format, open the file in word and convert the underscores (_) to 'manual line-breaks' and you'll have a neat paragraphed document!

Well spotted! There's been a few times when I've stared at my home-made .LIT files wondering how I can get them back into Word; I shall definitely try this out.

OK, a few questions...
What import 'type' do you use for lit?
What other settings do you use?

Ok, i messed things up. This is the correct link for the converter;

http://www.thebeatlesforever.com/processtext/abclit.zip

to ironguy: it will become clear with this utility, you won't have to select an input type, just press the open button and choose a format for saving. With a little luck you won't even have to add the linemarks yourself, i tried with a few books and it worked fine without tweaking.

Hopes this solves it

I agree that this is a good program for converting .LIT to text, but when I tried to use the ABC converter for .PDB to text it only came up with garbage. I tried the one from www.deepwave.net/ref/palm-wdc2/index.html. It uses MS word to go from .PDB to .TXT and from .TXT to .PDB. I don't know if anyone has said anything about this, but if you go to my-ebook.net and follow the links, you'll find a link to a web site in I think Russian, but they have a LOT of e-books in english. They are most if not all in .TXT files.
