I was able to download quite a few of the eBooks that MS offered this past summer, and one in particular, "The Company", has been my favorite. If you enjoy Cold War, espionage, CIA, etc story lines then this one is excellent. I'm also a Robert Ludlum buff, and "The Company" is similar in content.
It isn't allowed because of the copyrights. However, they wouldn't work on your PPC anyway due to the DRM it would only work on the person's computer that downloaded it originally.

I am currently reading The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown and it is a real screen-turner! If you like Indiana Jones type of stuff then I think you will enjoy this book.
My favorite thing to read would have to be The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. I can't wait to get my hands on the final two books, Wolves was such a good one. If you haven't read these books, read em! The Gunslinger gives you the wrong ideas about the series, so you have to push past it. Remember that King likes to describe his characters in great detail.
Anyway, another great thing about The Dark Tower is all of the other books that are connected to it; Eyes of the Dragon, Desperation, Bag of Bones, The Stand, Insomnia, Salem's Lot and so on and so forth. Not very many authors can offer this to ya the reader.
Anyways...2001 and 2010 and the other books in the series by Arthur C Clarke are pretty darn tasty too!

Can anyone provide a link to the Sequel?
www.Baen.com has Flints works online in several formats. They alos are publishing, in e-format, soem fan fiction and the next editon of the series. If you are not using Baen you are missing out ona lot of great FREE Sf as well as moderatly priced first run (not public Domain) fiction by many current authors.
I didn't know he offered the entire sequel on the subscription service. I thought he only offered short stories covering the periphery of his 1632 series.
1633 has been on E-book format for quite soemtime. His fanficton book called the "Ring of Fire" is either alredy availabel on Webscriptions or will be this month. 1634 will be comming soon also in E format. Eric has taken the lead in the E-book battle and is very agressive in his approach to the whole effort.
