no problem- its great to learn about these things- and to hear from people who know. its opened me up to other great books- not just the comfort of the Star Trek series.
if you go out and buy the last Honor Harrington hard back by david weber it comes with a cd that has all of the Harrington books on it...It's great I have all of the books on my ax
B-Man I have been a SF reader / fan since I was a kid and I have a number of authors that I really like. BaeN has beena great find for me because of all the free and resonably priced "recent" books. I love Robert Hinlien (SP) and have been hoping that more of his work would be released into E-book format. A lot of older Sf is being released and I have found a number of releases of works that I read while young and I am having a good time re reading them. Especailly works of Andre Norton and others of that era. If you take advantage of the free suff you will get hooked on more than Startrek.
I finsed it a few weeks ago. I have Just bought the Febuary webscriptions form Baen and as soon as I finsh the "Guardians fo the flame" I will start Ringos "Road to Damascas".
Sci fi lovers, or those who like good stories, in general should DEFINITELY try the Vorkosigan saga by Lois McMaster Bujold. This series makes for excellent reading :)
