You are welcome.

Did you notice that, if you go up a level, there are a large number of additional authors available?

Yeah I did

But what amazed me is that there are duplicates in Russian. Obvioulsy a questionalble resource. But for my own use I have downloaded and transfered into MS Word the ones I want and am making lit files out of th em. The formating is a little quirky so I am experimenting.

Overdrives free E-book converter is pretty easy to use so I am working with it. I had tried another free program called RSStudio but it does not work near as well and the success rate is pretty poor, at least for me.

Thanks for the link Moe. I was able to find "Stranger in a Strange Land" and many others by Heinlein.
Another really good author is Frank M. Robinson "Power" , "Waiting", and "Dark Beyond the Stars".
Unable to locate in ebook format but still looking.

Hey Moe!!!!!

That link that you supplied really is the cats "meow". I have converted a large amount of the works there into E-book format and am quite pleased withthe result.
How did you find that site? I have tired various goggle searchs to find others similar to it but no such luck.
Any way as stated before, for a cat your pretty smart.

Wmrawls,

I googled it. I searched for "heinlein freehold .txt" and it was the second item on the list.

I found another Russian site here that has "Text 2 Lit" and "Text 2 Html" command line programs that seem to work pretty well (if you don't have similar programs already).

They also have an "Uptime Meter" program for your Today screen if you're using a PocketPC (and why wouldn't you be - this is aximsite!) that looks okay.

Wmrawls,

There are also several sci-fi books available here and various other works available here. Give them a try!

Try Repligo. Converts it to .rgo format and you can read it with the free reader.

:D

Thanks,

If you have MS word you can download the free add in here:
http://www.microsoft.com/reader/deve...nloads/rmr.asp

If you don't have word there are a couple of stand alones that you can find via a Google search. I have had limited success using them and find the Plugin for Word to be very easy to use and very successful.
One point to consider is that formating prior to converting to LIT is important to your satisfaction with the E-book you create. You should experiment with the settings so that you are happy with the output. I usually let MS WORD "Justify" the entire text so that when I read it on my AX it flows better.

Stickman,

There is a "text 2 lit" command-line utility here. It seems to work okay. Of course, the result is not as polished as Wmrawls can do with Word.
