microsoft reader...Help!!!

I know there have posts regarding this but I haven't found an explanation which seems to fit my issue (read: idiot). My ax is brand new (3 weeks) so i am assuming my reader is current Microsoft reader version 2.2.3 (build 3205). I have also succesfully activated my reader. The problemo is that when i go to save or open an ebook it asks you to choose a program to open the file (in this case a .lit file).

I get to this point and I am stumped. I actually tried to use Microsoft publisher to open the file but that clearly didn't work.

Any assistance with this would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know the anwser but please stop cross posting your question. It's not allowed here. I'll leave this one but I'm getting rid of the others.

I'm not sure about the issue, but have you tried to open the e-book through the library in MS Reader, instead of tapping on the file itself?

the problem I am having is that when I download the book to my PC, it is asking me to search for a program to open the .lit file.

So, I haven't even gotten to the point where I have the e-book on my axim.

any additional feedback is welcome.
