I don't neccessarily have a problem with an active, participating member, posting a plug for or about a personal accomplishment but when someone joins a forum and makes only one post such as this it does grate on me a little....

I didn't notice the "1" post count, also, this is a self publiched book with a bunch of weird warnings on the web site. Strange.

And if you notice he still only has one post. You see these self serving posts crop up from time to time. I'm not opposed to an active and participating member posting something neat and truly worthwhile in their own interests occasionally but its these "Drop dead Fred " types that do the plug and boogie out faster than a cat can lick its fanny that bug me.
