I have many purchsed e-books in PDF format but I just dont like how acrobat displays them on the axim....does anyone have a progeam for free that will convert them to another format like word or html?

more than likely they are coded so that you can not do that, try a ocr program that accepts PDF inputs

There's a good long thread on this topic over at MobileRead. No free solutions are perfect (yet), but many will get you further than you are...
