Eyes,,,,
When reading an Ebook, don't your eyes start to hurt? Mine do. I also have become very near sighted in the past few months.
Has anyone else had a problem similar to this at all?

I tend to have that problem if the screen brightness is too high. Otherwise, I don't really have any problems reading from an X30.

Nope, I read the things all the time to the point where I have to swwitch the battery or plug-in. If you're using MS Reader have you tried changing the font settings? I use large which is the third notch from the left.

I use MobiPocket reader with the colours set to black background and yellowish letters. Much better contrast.

I use MS reader and have been reading books with it almost since I got it 18 months ago and I can report no problems with eyes hurting or any side effects. Play around with the settings and maybe try a different reader that may be easier on your eyes.

You can adjust font size to make reading eBook easier on your eyes. Just go into settings.
